ALARKO CONTRACTING GROUP was elected first in the `Construction Sector` in "The Most Admired Companies in Turkey" survey conducted by Capital Magazine and Trend Group.

A total of 796 prominent executives in Turkey were interviewed within the scope of the survey, and they were asked to rate the success of their competitors` in Turkey on a scale extending from l to 10 on `16 Criteria` ranging from `Management Ouality`, `Modernity` to `Strategic Marketing Understanding`, `Customer Satisfaction`.

As a result of the survey, the ALARKO CONTRACTING GROUP rated fırst in the `Construction Sector`. At the Award Ceremony held at Hürriyet Medya Towers on 6 November 2001 with the participation of prominent businessmen of the Turkish business world, the award was received by Ayhan Yavrucu , General Coordinator of the Alarko Group of Companies. According to the results of the same survey, Alarko Holding rated 9th among the 20 most admired companies.

These results are used as a benchmarking instrument by companies and ali the companies in the world look at these results.

The basic proposition of `The Most Admired Companies` survey is that in addition to the company itself, it is only its competitors who really know the company.
